Our Work

GOVA

In 2018, Petryna Advertising was awarded a refresh and marketing project for the new Transit Action Plan in Greater Sudbury. This marked the first overhaul of Greater Sudbury's transit system in over two decades.

The project covered many aspects including public information sessions, community surveys, and assistance with preparing key presentations. The brand refresh involved a new logo and visual identity that was integrated into various transit communication channels. Therrien, one of two project leaders, oversaw the rebranding strategy, graphic standards, and marketing materials coordination.

The team ensured project completion on-time and within budget, receiving a positive response post-launch.
Following this success, Petryna Advertising was invited to work on two additional transit-related campaigns in Red Deer and Yellowknife. Working with WATT Consulting Group, Petryna Advertising is currently developing strategic marketing and design services for the upcoming projects.

MICA

The Mining Innovation Commercialization Accelerator (MICA), a national mining innovation network, aims to bridge innovation-commercialization gaps for enhanced domestic and global commercial success.

Launched on July 9, 2021, with the Government of Canada's Strategic Innovation Fund, MICA facilitates investment in Canadian solutions and encourages intersectoral collaboration.

Petryna Advertising has been a trusted partner of MICA's from the start, helping to shape the brand's identity.

To date, we have constructed a five-year Marketing Plan, developed a website, and created multiple marketing communication pieces to increase awareness about what MICA does such as membership brochures, postcards, booth exhibitry, and a digital toolkit for members to promote the fact that they are a part of the MICA network - and everything has been done in both French and English.

COLLÈGE BORÉAL

In partnership with PWL Films, we led a six-month project producing a 90-minute video for Collège Boréal's 25th Anniversary. The video took viewers through a historical journey, spotlighting each past president and their respective focuses, while incorporating four music videos, celebrating the college's musical history.

Pandemic-induced restrictions introduced unique challenges. We adapted by interviewing over 40 officials and community leaders both in-person and virtually, coordinating camera crews across multiple cities, and creating an impactful land acknowledgment.

Beyond video production, we led a committee centered on social media and engagement. We prepared and shipped 'celebration kits' containing party favours and a signature cocktail recipe to the first 1,500 registrants, sparking social media interaction.

The virtual event highlighted Collège Boréal's impact across Ontario in an engaging manner. Alongside this project, we have also produced videos for the Louis Riel Centre, Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention, and Workplace Health & Safety, including Lockdown procedures.

L’ARCHE SUDBURY

In late 2021, we were approached by L’Arche Sudbury to help them increase their brand awareness. Even though they have played a vital role in our community for over 40 years, many people were not aware of their mission.

L’Arche needed a brand awareness campaign, and we had so much fun helping them execute it.

Our goal was to convey that feeling that defines L'Arche. It’s about showing everyone - core members, assistants, donors and future donors - what it feels like to be a part of something that brings so much joy into people's lives.

Along with our friends at PWL Films, we produced three beautiful videos that brought the viewer into a day in the life of a L’Arche home. We incorporated a full social media strategy, out-of-home marketing, a website serving as a hub for donations, and press releases to engage local media.
